"I never write reviews, but these guys deserve one— so glad I found them! My car started making a terrible metal scraping noise on my way home from work on a Friday afternoon, and I was stressed in general, but especially about finding someone who could take a look at it and fix it over the weekend as I had a busy week ahead. I started Googling local mechanics and BG Auto was one of the first to come up. All the highly rated reviews are what made me reach out, and the fact that their website says they can come to you as a mobile mechanic since I was nervous about continuing to drive it anywhere. I texted and they answered right away, and he scheduled to come take a look the next morning! Incredibly professional and kind young men showed up right on time Saturday morning (in the pouring rain and wind even!) took and look and a quick test drive, determined the issue, and eased my mind. They looked for availability of parts right then and there to let me know a timeline and determined they could get everything by Sunday morning and get it done that same day. They asked whether I'd prefer them to come back when the parts came in or if I'd prefer they put it on the lift at their home shop, and since I knew it was safe to drive now, I said the home shop so they could take a full look at it and determine if it needed anything else as well as the problem diagnosed. They gave me the estimate for the work (parts and labor) immediately as well, so add that to the many reasons I was already feeling that the transparency and trustworthiness was evident from the beginning! Their shop is located in a very central and easily accessible spot in Barnegat, and honestly a super cool setup. Dropped it off the next morning and by the afternoon it was ready! Four new brakes and rotors, an oil change, a reset on the cars computer for the notification to pop up next time I need an oil change (previously wasn't working and I didn't even ask him to do this, he just did!), and a full check to make sure everything else was in working order. Incredibly fair and affordable pricing (for context, last year another shop charged me DOUBLE for this same exact work!), thorough and trustworthy work (with a warranty/guarantee!), professional and polite young man/men, and very easy communication— couldn't recommend these guys more and won't be taking my car to anyone but them from here on out!!"
